Interreg Co-Adapt is a €7million project involving 12 main partners in Somerset, Devon, Belgium, Holland and France.

Each of the project areas is unique, but they face many of the same consequences from climate change. The focus of Co-Adapt is to create a process through which all members of society are empowered to take decisions and actions which enable climate adaptation to take place.

This co-operation/co-creation process extends to the communications between partners. The partners will work across borders to share knowledge and expertise, carry out peer reviews to help and guide each other’s work, and ultimately develop a tool kit to aid climate adaptation work in other areas, or by different communities, organisation or government bodies.

Adapting The Levels is the project working across the Somerset Levels and Moors, aiming to engage with Farmers, Land Managers and communities, to identify a sustainable and resilient future. The project is a partnership between Somerset County Council, Somerset Wildlife Trust and FWAG SouthWest, with additional funding from the Somerset Rivers Authority.
