What's on Events and workshops Somerset Moor Futures Farmer Workshop 05.06.24 As part of Somerset Moor Futures, FWAG SW & Avon Wildlife Trust’s yearlong project under the Lowland Agricultural Peat Water Discovery Pilot, we would like to invite you to a series of information workshops for farmers & landowners on peat. The purpose of these workshops is knowledge and experience sharing, to explore the future of peat with local farmers & landowners. If you own peat or manage peat ground and want a better understanding of the wider context and coming changes to peatland management, come along to any of the workshops that interest you. Further workshops will be run on the in-depth science of climate and peatland, and opportunities for farmers – dates tbc.
